Ok.... so I see this is not an isolated problem, as someone reported this exact same problem as far back as October 2007.
The response from Ernie, indicates that this is a known issue, caused by obsolete data in the program.
"Select the 'Exclude preferrred Arr/Dep' item from the Build Options menu.
The preferred routes were intended to force the generator to use pre-defined arrival and departure routes to specified airport. A workable idea at the time, but now that some years have passed and we have not really be able to keep them up to date. Those preferred arrivals have become obsolete when you update the Navdata and some of the waypoints referred to are no longer in the database (same identifer at another location however is still in the DB) causing the behavior you are seeing."
Is there a possibility that this could be taken care of in an update? Or at the very least, could the 'Exclude preferrred Arr/Dep' item be added to the options page, so that it could be saved with the config options?
