Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi guys,

I had already asked this before in another thread but I am still encountering the same problem and it is bothering me a lot as I am finding it in every flight that I plan. I am new to FSBuild and I would like your expert opinion on the following:

When I build a Flightplan in FSBuild I have to give the departure runway and the relevant SID pops up. Then after exporting it, when I go to begin my flight I find that the default Flight Simulator ATC is using another runway in that particular airport. Because of this I cannot fly according to the SID planned and flightplan built and I reach waypoints at the wrong flight level.

What I would like to ask is, what do all FSBuild users do to prevent this from happening??
Is it happening to me because I do not have an ATC addon such as Radar Contact ??
If I buy an ATC addon do I get rid of this problem?
Do ATC addons work according to the flightplan imported from FSBuild??

What you are experencing is normal.
Often a flight plan must be built several times.
I use Vatsim for on line flights and Departure Control will often change the departure runway and SID.

So.
I get the weather (ActiveSky).
I fetch the departure and arrival Wx from ActiveSky.
I guess the departure and arrival RWYs, SID and STAR.
Build the plan.
Enter FMC data.
Contact Departure.
If requested RWY and or SID is modified by Departure I rebuild the Plan.
Load fuel.
Enter modified data into FMC.
Ready for departure.
STARS are not often changed but, upon contacting Approach Control, vectors will begin (which obsoletes the rest of the STAR) and arrival RWYS may change ... the plan cannot be rebuilt here.
At this point the FMC is edited for arrival and you should have enough fuel based on the last flight plan built .. plus reserve fuel/alternate airport.

Thank you very much for your explanation, I will try and follow the steps you highlighted.
What annoys me most is that when I notice that the runway is not according to the flightplan, I have to exit the current flight, minimise flightsimulator in order to rechange the flightplan in FSBuild and restart all over again.
Is it possible to just minimise FS, change the flightplan in FSBuild, reexporting it into FS and reset the current flight to have the flighplan modified according to the prevailing conditions at the departure airport?

MSFS was not designed around other software like FSbuild or Addon aircraft. It has its own flight planner (no SID/STARS), weather and default aircraft.

Thus the problem....., Problem(s)! For us guys.

Because we want all that "real stuff".
