Find the 'SimWx' row in the Export Directories table (should be near the bottom), click on the
'Browse' button to find and select your SimWx folder. Press 'Ok' when done.
Go to the 'Settings' tab and press the 'Save Config Options' button.
Shut down, and restart Fsbuild for the new settings to take effect.
After restart go to the Options/Setting tab and select 'SIMWX' from the 'Weather' menu as the active
weather program (save this setting if you want this to be the default always).
Go to the 'Build Options' menu and select/check the 'apply winds aloft data' menu option.
Build the Flight plan you wish to use.
Run SimWx and load the fpin.txt file created by Fsbuild (it should be in your c:\simwx folder to retrieve
the winds aloft data.
return to Fsbuild
Re-'Build' the same route and you will see the HeadWind/Tailwind component in the last column on the far left of the route
waypoint table (positive is TW negtive is HW). In the Fsbuild Navlog you will see the wind speed and direction as well as the wind corrected heading.
