I fly the wonderful Dreamfleet model in the livery of Iceland Air (Flugfelag Island). The panel is superb, designed by Espen Oijordsbakken in 2004.



The only probem is the on-board flight computer on top left. This is not easy to program and the navigation database has not, and probably cannot, be updated. It uses .ad; .int and .nav files. So I want to use something vaguely protypical instead. I would keep the old gauge. The arrow shows a non-functioning FMS icon on the panel - the Oijordsbakken gauge is opened with Shift-7.

I'd be grateful for advice - I think LNAV would be adequate for domestic flights in Iceland. I do not want or need a B777-type FMC. The panel.cfg is below:

Thanks very much, Eric, but I'm not sure what has happened now.
The B777 EADI and EHSI from the Oijordsbakken panel have disappeared. In their place are other EADI and EHSI gauges. I am not sure if these are the original F50 gauges or isg. The EADI is identical to the isg type, but the EHSI does not look like any of the Group 1 isg gauges (unless I am being particularly stupid). It has green text. There is no EIFIS control for this gauge on the panel.

Also, there is no GNSXLS and no MCU and no icons/buttons to open them!

I am not sure if I have got the F50 correctly configured in the isg folder. There is no 5th parameter in your panel.cfg so I do not know how to ID the plane in the isg folder e.g. for the Lear jet it is Lear45. Maybe this part is unessential.

Okay, Ernie, I found the gauges in the Views Menu as shown. But I cannot for the life of me find the buttons. Certainly they aren't under the VSI. Maybe it's me......

Magic! Only thing now is a double entry for gauge44=

I put: //gauge44=Fokker50!Slip,394,656,49

I do not know what this gauge does. If I find I need it can I just renumber to gauge49=Fokker50!Slip,394,656,49 ?

Presumably that is the slip indicator (the little ball below the ADI).

Renumber the ISG1 gauges down one starting from gauge45, that's probably the way to go.
